My name is Octavian Damiean and, as ​
Tadeáš

​ a very proud Ubuntu user since 2007.
​In my day job I'm a software developer, mostly focusing on web front-ends.​

​I'm the Austrian LoCo's wiki-maintainer​
​
​ and among the handful of people that form the LoCo.
I also help with bugs where I can, offer support on IRC, edit​ wiki
articles on w.u.c and ubuntuuers.de,
been very active on Ask Ubuntu, where I still help with editing and
general maintenance tasks.
​I'm also spreading Ubuntu among relatives, friends and neighbors. A recent
achievement was
to get an entire company to switch to Ubuntu (it wasn't a big company but
still).​

I was an Ubuntu fan ever since I used Ubuntu the first time but the Ubuntu
enthusiasm caught me
when I attended my first UDS in Budapest back in 2011. It was a truly
energizing experience.

What I'm expecting from this team. Honestly, it's guidance. I'm expecting
to learn from you guys and
take what I learned not only to be more effective in spreading Ubuntu but
also for building the LoCo.

That's about it for the moment. I'm very excited about this project!​
