I put Mint on a HP 2133 mininote this past summer. I actually had a problem
installing it over a usb CD-ROM so I used unetbootin
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ to get mint installed. Worked pretty good
on the mininote. I didn't see any hardware that didn't install correctly.
I only did this for fun and didn't use it full time so your milage may very.
But that is what I had to do to get mint installed.
