Charles, 

A quick note about hosting: Google Adsense and Google Analytics are
great. The first one will generate some revenue for you (it'll start
small but it can grow big. linuxmint.com generates about $1,000/month
for instance). The other will let you know more about your visitors,
your traffic..etc. They're both very great tools.
