Re: Don't panic

I have posted a test podcast. I don't see it yet on mintcast.org, but
the status shows as Published so I expect it will show up shortly.

I seem to have the tools and skills needed to make this happen. What I
posted here is a VERY rough version of what my first podcast will talk
about in the main segment. This test doesn't include news, user
feedback, etc.

What I still need is music -- free music, I don't want to pay $25,000
to put music into the podcast.

I need:

Opening music

Closing music (can be the same as the opening music)

Bumper music

The bumper music can be just one piece, or there could be different
music for the bumper before news, bumper before main story, bumper
before user feedback, etc.

Once I have the pieces of music, I can start assembling real podcasts.

I do not want to play music while I'm talking. That annoys me a lot
when other podcasters do that. It's too easy to have the music too
loud so that it makes the voice track hard to listen to. So I just
need short pieces -- bumpers of 5-8 seconds, and opening / closing of
30 to 45 seconds.

The second show will be about backups, specifically mintBackup,
FlyBack and JungleDisk.

If it shows up, have a listen and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Charles
