Re: Features that could be in 0.60
Hi guys :)
As we are working in our spare time and in our preferred feature, I don't
see the need of a roadmap :)
I would like to use a faster way (Telegram group?) for just say what I'm
working and not duplicate work :)
About your ideas Joerg,
> 1. vector maps.
The image tiles are more light for the app and for the data
(connection). Mapzen
has vector maps <https://mapzen.com/projects/vector-tiles/>, but the data
for a small area is so big and even Firefox runs slow with those maps on PC
:S
> 2. night view: - include a dark theme and adjust map colors for a night
view.
+1 I think users will like low brightness for the night.
> 3. Add niks convergence features and improve them.
I think this is the primary goal :)
> 4. quick access to pois for active routes.
I don't see this as a good advance (nearby history just 1 click of distance
:P), but we can talk about an implementation, but better another thread :)
> 5. gpx-tracking 6. save favorite routes and recall them.
I think 5 & 6 is the same, read/write track routes.
I would not like this because this feature is not for a really simple/easy
app (from my point of view) :) We can talk too :)
> 7. enhance offline tile caching
As core app we could ask for access to read home (?). If yes, It is not so
complicate (image tiles) from local.
> Voice Management
This would be critical for me in this release too, because it's important
reduce 4,5MB from my view :)
A hug and thanks a lot for your feedback!
:D
