Have to jump in here first, I'll follow up to your other posts
later when I have more time.

debian-mips in the first place supports SGI Indy, Indigo & O2
(as well as some evalution boards iirc). All those are big endian
mipsen, while little endian e.g. DECstations fall under the
mipsel architecture in Debian terms.

Hence another rename seems in order :)
