That suggests you're going too far with NVDA+numpad8 or NVDA+numpad8 is skipping the Track View window for some reason. Please do the following: 1. NVDA menu -> Preferences -> General, set logging level to input/output, save NVDA configuration and restart NVDA.
2. Open a new Sonar project.
3. Ensure focus is in the Track pane.
4. Press NVDA+numpad5.
5. Press NVDA+numpad8, NVDA+numpad6, NVDA+numpad6.
6. NVDA menu -> Tools -> View log, Log menu, Save as.
7. Save the log and attach it to your reply.
This will enable me to see exactly what NVDA is saying in response to each thing you do.

By the way, are you ok with making just a few more quick nav keys, we
don't have to go nuts like jsonar, but the ones I go to most often
besides the name are the volume and pan and effects bin.
Sure. I'm actually wondering whether I should just assign control+shift+numbers to jump to the column numbered; e.g. control+shift+5 would jump to the fifth column. Or do you think it's necessary to have control+shift+f for FX? My concern is that this may break in languages other than English. Anyway, please file a bug.
