I mean focus on the Track pane and allow NVDA's navigator object to move
there. From there, press NVDA+numpad8 once (NVDA should say "Sonar 1 -
Track window" or similar), then NVDA+numpad6 twice.
So do I need to
be inside the tool bar and have it be the navigator object for this to
work?
No.
But when nvda numpad 8 says sonar 1 whatever it is, that's the window
tytle and isn't that the container and so your at that level above the
thing that contains the tool bar right?
Depends. There are two windows: "Sonar 1 - Track", which is the Track
View, and "Sonar 1 - Sonar 8.5 Producer", which is the main window.
I wish there was an easy way to drill back down instead of having to
route focus and start over again, but hey, guess we can't have
everything, unless it's there and i don't know about it yet.
Depends what you mean. NVDA+numpad2 moves inside the current container.
You can also route review to the current focus with NVDA+numpadMinus.
