Here are some of the comments that I thought were noteworthy

1. OGG support. I think this is something even I would like to see. I am pretty sure audacity can export to OGG (if it can't then I would be surprised). Charles do you think that is a possibility to put up OGG for at least episode 2?

I think so. I'm pretty sure Audacity can export to Ogg. And it makes sense that we would want to publish in an open format.

I haven't looked into getting us into iTunes, which is where I usually go to look for podcasts. I suspect we have to put out an MP3 to get in there.

Plus, I don't know how many portable players support Ogg. I doubt the iPod does, though I haven't looked into it.

So whatever we do, I think we're going to have to post an MP3 file. Supporting open formats is good, but we have to be mindful of compatibility and to make sure that everyone can listen to the show.

2. Topics - lots of stuff from transferring files to portable devices to how to make a podcast in Linux. I think we have some good ideas to work with.

We do have a good start on the feedback. I'm hoping that we'll get lots of our future topic from the listener feedback. After all, we're doing it for them.
