Message #00062
Agenga for stakholders meeting 2011-04-07
Hi,
Here's the agenda for today.
https://wiki.linaro.org/Platform/Infrastructure/CurrentProjects
* Update on current projects
* OverallStatusReporting - This project is moving to the
maintainence state as the main needs for this cycle are now
satisfied. Further changes can still be requested by filing bugs
on the launchpad-work-items-tracker project.
* OurOwnOffspring - IS have started work on this again, and have
completed setup of the master. Work on the slaves is scheduled for
this week.
* PatchTracking - There is good progress here and a demo instance is
set up at http://ec2-184-73-78-92.compute-1.amazonaws.com/metrics/
I'll be contacting stakeholders for this to discuss what else
needs to be done. This project will remain on our plate as there
are still things to do, including final deployment.
* ContinuousIntegration - Some progress has been made here. Work
will continue to provide the environment for better automated
testing of WG output.
* BuildFailureBugFiling - Good progress has been made. There are a
few changes to be made after discovering some things with tests on
real live data by Steve. This is also blocked from completion by a
re-licensing request that is in front of the board.
* AndroidBuildInfrastructure and AndroidMirrorService - Good
progress. The basic features are there to allow the Android team
to do their work, but there are some changes that have to be made.
* Update on current IS queue (in priority order)
1. Porter boxes - all but complete
2. OurOwnOffspring - in progress
3. Upgrade of wiki.linaro.org (fixes many bugs, improves search)
- in progress
4. Private area for LTs to share hwpacks etc.
5. PatchTracking deployment
6. Deploy new dashboard.linaro.org
7. Gerrit for Linaro
8. Jenkins for Linaro
... everything else
* Update on the team
* Michael working with validation for three weeks, perhaps until UDS
* James Tunnicliffe working with us while Michael is working with
validation
* Contract signed with new person, joining some time this month or
early next month.
* Proposal for next month
* OverallStatusReporting moves to maintainence
* BuildFailureBugFailing likely to move to maintainence during the
month.
* PatchTracking has a chance of moving to maintainence during the
month, but that depends on the stakeholder review of the demo.
* The next queue currently contains two projects
* HardwarePacksv2 and Gerrit
* I propose adding one item to the queue: TestDrive, to make it much
easier for someone to try out the LEBs, and to ease testing of the
images we produce.
* In addition, the Android work will be put on hold until the new
starter joins. As I said above, the main features are there for it
to be usable, and we can fix particularly urgent bugs in the
meantime.
* Discussion of proposal
* Discussion of changes to IS priorities
* Discussion of possible future projects
* AOB
Thanks,
James
