Re: Dealing with "series"

 

its unlikely that a given tosca config will work across arbitrary versions
of an os, if the release version can be inferred from the tosca
os_version field
for a machine that is the right place (series can be specified on a per
charm basis as well as at the bundle, where it acts as a default). ie. for
a given workload find the machine for hosted on rel, and examine its os to
determine charm series. If its not specified, i think using the cli
parameter is reasonable, with a default of latest LTS (currently trusty).
