[Bug 524345] Re: Seems that Firefox 3.5.x hangs at demo page
Have you open the Java console to have a look to the traces?
The bug does not affect my Firefox 3.5.7 (OpenSuse 11.2, Java Plug-in
1.6.0_18).

Bug description:
Tested with Firefox 3.5.3 under Ubuntu (this is the latest stable version in Ubuntu repositories AFAIK). When I click on "Register the client and starts the connection to the Samp hub" link at http://vo.imcce.fr/webservices/samp/demo.html page regardless hub is launched or not, I get unresponsive Firefox eating 100% of CPU. I suppose this is just a launch of an applet.
Java stuff:
Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_16-b01
File name: libjavaplugin_oji.so
Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_16
Need to note, that other Java-JavaScript interactions work just fine. For that purpose I usually check http://www.apl.jhu.edu/~hall/CWP-Sources/CWP-Examples/Chapter19/MoldSimulation.html
Did not test the latest Firefox 3.6 available, but seems that the user base of 3.5 is really huge at the moment.
