Re: Caption on official Ubuntu Video

 

Hi again.

So I made some test this morning and unfortunately, Google Translate
Toolkit is not integrate with G+, so you can't share your request of
translation in public Mode. You have to invite people one by one or over a
gmail group.

Anyway, a workaround is possible.

In fact, as the owner of the video, and requesting for translation, you
have some tasks who appear in your Google Translate Toolkit. each one
corresponding to a langage you choose. So open one and export it. You'll
receive an srt file pre-translated. You can copy and paste the content into
a pad and share the url of the pad for a public cooperation for now.

When the pad is reviewed export it as an srt file and load it into your
video in the caption manager section. And Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
