Hi,

The next release for Trafodion is presently scheduled for July 18. The first Release Candidate build is scheduled for July 11.

So, we need to control approvals for check-ins between July 11 and July 18.

You might recall that in June, we had a Supreme Check-in Czar (namely me) who had sole authority to do approvals during the release candidate period. But now that we have a functioning Technical Committee (namely you), it's appropriate to ask your opinion about how we manage this.

What do you think? Do you want to appoint a Czar once again? Or would you prefer some other system? Please reply to all (so this discussion is archived publicly) with your suggestions by close of business July 7. Ideally, you'll come to a consensus among yourselves and tell me what we will do.
