Re: Sahana as a service for Samoa - pacific Tsunami

We have a board member who has reasonably high level contacts with ESRI in the US as well - if need be, we may be able to work down that path for data for American Samoa. Also, the US military may also have some good data available. I've got a CD of Niue data that a US military assessment team did in 2001 and left with Niue and SOPAC. It might be possible to track some of these down.

Neil indicated that Eagle services NZ and Fiji for GIS and that Hawaii may service the affected area. The initial help may be an introduction to a contact in Hawaii who may be in a position to assist.

I have just spoken to Neil Calvert of Eagle. Neil sounded keen to assist and will get hold of me tomorrow morning.

Not sure how much South Pacific data Eagle have access to. It might be that if they had some, they could host it on their servers, and the Respere SaaS could then just link to them?
