Environment: Ubuntu 12.04.1 x64 Python 2.7

(But I was having this problem with 6.1.1 as well)
Frequently, module installation fails to complete and browser is left
hanging in "busy" state.
Similar to Bug# 955202 which was incomplete...
Looks to be something to do with cron wakeups.
Cannot stop service....but be killed... looks like some sort of
thread/resource block.
Not sure what I can do to help further diagnose as debug log does not
give any insight into where/why it is blocked.
