i made it

Howdy folks.

Man, what a pain in the hind end, but I got here.

I am really liking where this is going.

I am not a programmer, well, maybe barely if autohotkey counts, but looking at a python script doesn't cause me to get a migraine and drool down my chin as bad as looking at vb script.

I have asked for and gotten more sonar access in 2 days than I have from my screen-reader company for the last 5 years.

This is indeed exciting.

Carry on.

Jamie was explaining to me that navigation with hotkeys might be tricky.

Well, could we reliably determine atleast one place that focus could land, and then send keystrokes a certain number of times to say jump to the fx bin, or whatever?

Seems like I did this with autohot and it worked pretty well.

I used to do a lot with keybindings too.

sonar's got so much stufff in it people just don't know about, or never use.

Anyway, my immediate wish list would be for the tempo view which looks easy from a layman's point of view, because I can monitor a spot on the screen in flat review which changes when the tempo changes, and then audio snap.

Window-eyes works best for me with audio snap so far, and hopefully it'd be just a matter of handling that window.

Boy Jamie, you sure did a great job with the matrix view.

It's lovely, and so responsive, and it hasn't crashed once, which it does with jaws, and sometimes window-eyes.

Nvda right now is as close as we can get to having a daw run like sighted people get to do without having a bohemith screen-reader ruin everything by bogging it down.
