Re: ideas

Wine is definitely an important topic. Maybe that will be episode 3. I
do have one program I run in Wine, not because I'm actively using it
any more but because it has been my note-taking program since the days
of DOS, and I have 20-something years of notes stored in it. Tomboy is
now my note-taking program of choice, but it will take a long time to
get my notes moved over.

Note-taking software will be another episode. In Windows the only free
solution I know of is Notepad (though I'll have to do some research to
be sure of that). Linux has basKet and Tomboy, both excellent and free
programs.

Virtualization will be another show. VMWare/Virtualbox/Xen give us
more options for running the software we need.
