Hi Haruspexed, 
 
The mint startup jingle is a nice touch.. it made me smile when I heard
it. However I think the first try was more able to fade in the
background. This second try has too much presence and wouldn't be as
good in the background. 
 
Now, on the first try itself.. I think it's very good. I can see how it
could be used, I think it would fit nicely. 
 
What really matters though is that the person running the show and doing
most of the speaking like it too and that he feels comfortable with it.
I'll focus on making sure everybody's on this list and see where people
live and how do they want to fit in within this project. 
 
Continue to work on the sound, you're doing great so far.
