i dont know about the time limit, you should response to the mailing list so
that all guys in the podcast crew see your comments, and tell what they
think of...

i think it is a good idea to start at 0:45s from bgmusic and lay some intro
text like, "welcome to mint podcast episode one" and while that lower the
volume of the track and beginn speach , let track play additional 20-30 secs
and fade out in background while continuing speaking the podcast,... maybe
at the end same track as outtro and fade out after few secs to end
podcast....

podcast length i dont know, can imagine 5 to 30 mins, i really dont know how
much to talk :) if it will be a weekly show i think it shouldnt be too long
else you run out of stuff...

stuff for episode one could be coming ubuntu 8.10, the mint 6 and other
stuff related to mint, minttools, developing, and what will be next weeks...
(what to expect soon)

i will do promotion of the blog on my websites i have for music and other
stuff (simple link to mint and rss).

surely clem should maybe give additional info and maybe some extra info so
we dont just read blog :D
