I would suggest to scale the line width for the added paths as it otherwise
looks a bit strange.

That would be good. It is fairly easy to extend the drawing functionality to
include adding text to the slides. But I didn't do it, because of all the
keypress/keydown event confusion on my side. I wasn't aware that one sends a
key code and the other the character entered. Once the new functions are in
place we can add this functionality.
