Re: Proposal: Rename model => scattering

Makes sense.

For now I will move it to a new top level package within the holopy project, so we will have
lp:holopy/dev/holopy
             /scatterpy

And will move all of the associated 3rd party code that is only used for scattering calculations into a third party directory in scatterpy. That will make it relatively straightforward to spin it of into an entirely seperate package whenever we so choose.

scatterpy is a good enough name for me, we can do a little more brainstorming, or just go with it.

I would suggest that we move "model" to a new top-level package, on the
same level as holopy. The idea is to have the scattering calculations
completely independent of the rest of the holopy code base. In the
long-term we'd like to have the scattering package evolve into a
full-fledged codebase for calculating scattered intensity and fields
using a variety of different theories. This would be useful for many
other purposes besides holography.

Then we just need a name for this package. Scatterpy, anyone?

I would like to propose renaming holopy.model to holopy.scattering to
more accurately describe what it is. Model can have many meanings, the
code here is clearly intended for doing calculations relating to
scattering (it would then have holopy.scattering.scatterer and
holopy.scattering.theory).

If no one has any objections, I will do the move and make sure all of
the code points to the new name correctly.
