[Bug 2129808] [NEW] The 'copy' option from the context menu doesn't work

Public bug reported:

If you select some text, then right-click and select "copy", it doesn't
copy to the clipboard. It seems actually nothing happens. Note, if you
do ctrl+c, it copies fine, but the context menu doesn't work.

Bug description:
