The client is upgrading from Dapper to Hardy.
Reproduction shows missing external mechanism on the server:
$ ldapsearch -x -H ldap://localhost -b "" -LLL -s base supportedSASLMechanisms
dn:
supportedSASLMechanisms: DIGEST-MD5
supportedSASLMechanisms: CRAM-MD5
supportedSASLMechanisms: NTLM

QA should report by July 22 11:30
