Hey, that’s actually normal in newer versions of Xpad. The xpad.conf
file doesn’t always show up right after installation. It usually appears
once you open Xpad, create a note, or change some settings.

If it’s still missing, check this path in your home folder:
~/.config/xpad/

You can back up that whole folder instead of waiting for the config
file. It’ll include all your notes and preferences, so it’s a safer
option overall.
