Message #00000
Could the dependency on openjdk-7-jre be replaced by java7-runtime?

I've noticed that webcamstudio package depends directly on
openjdk-7-jre instead of one of the more generic java-runtime or
java7-runtime.
This keeps us from updating to the more recent openjdk-8-jre available
on the universe repository, that also provides java-runtime AND
java7-runtime (also provides: java2-runtime, java5-runtime,
java6-runtime, java8-runtime).
Could this be changed in a future update or is there a reason to keep
it this way?
FWIW, I've installed openjdk-8-jre and made it made it my default java
runtime (sudo update-alternatives --config java), launched
webcamstudio and used it for a while without problems.
