[Bug 524080] Re: Is there a hub connection destructor in Java object?
The normal behavior of an applet is to end when the page is closed, and
thus the implicit destructor should disconnect the hub. I will check
what is really going on and fix it.

Bug description:
Seems that a hub connection hangs (as seen by hub in TOPCAT) when user closes tab with applet page in a browser (latest Firefox). If this is the case, please add the destructor that explicitly disconnects from a hub.
