Hi,

I want to hit a command in unity to open the firefox bookmarks manager.
I want to hit a command in unity to open the thunderbird write window.

currently, hackers:
hit ctrl+1
wait a long time
hit ctrl+f
type a word
hit enter

hackers are like ninjas, hackers are fast and accurate, hackers want to:

hit ctrl+1
hit ctrl+f
type a word
hit enter
wait a long time


when I type a url and hit enter, firefox:
- opens an empty tab
- focuses the empty tab
firefox does that for a loading web app

when I click thunderbird or hit ctrl+3:
- unity shows that the desktop app is loading already
- doesn't focus the desktop app yet
unity should focus the app for a loading desktop app

from a programmer's point-of-view, hackers:
hit ctrl+1
unity shows that firefox is loading by slowly blinking its launcher icon
unity focuses firefox
hit ctrl+f
type a word
hit enter
firefox finishes launching
unity shows the firefox window

while an app's launcher icon slowly blinks, focus it
