If you like you can easily play with the colors by adjusting them in
nav/css/unav.css

Ah, I have never played with the desktop version, but I see. Let's keep
it low prio. There have to be some tweaks in pre-calculating page size.

Well, I will check if it is easily possible on the query side.
If you are familiar with implementing the select state it would be fine.
I'll file a bug later.
