Re: MirthKit GPLed?

I don't know what to say. I'm properly the wrong guy to ask about
license and policies. I play linux games wether or not regarding
license. I buy games and I play the free one as well. I think for the
normal users it won't have any effect if the game they buy is open or
close source. For those who follows the philosophy 110 procent behind
Open Source they'll be glad.
One thing which would be a good promotion about Buy Open Source games
would be that it's possible to keep the games compatible in the
future. The problem with game that you buy from LPG/Runesoft etc. that
the customers is bound to that the companies releases patches to make
them compatible with newer libs/cards etc.

A good exampel is the old Loki games - I guess if anyone willingly
would use some time to rewrite the installer file(s) I'll put them up
on pedistal and spray-paint them in gold.
LGP are worse releasing patches for their older games, I have
written/bug report Majesty Gold to them and still a year after it's
impossible to install Majesty Gold on a newer Linux Distro.
