[Bug 230076] Re: blender-bleedingedge: Loading AVI clip causes lock-up and system grinding
As far as I know blender-bleedingedge is not packaged in Ubuntu so I'm
closing the Ubuntu bug report as Invalid.

Bug description:
Summary: Attempting to load a clip in blender-bleedingedge results in a completely instable system. Symptoms include tremendous disk access as well as intermittent cursor updates, etc.
Frequency: Always (5 tries / 5 mainifestations)
Platform: Ubuntu 8.04 amd64
Additional Information: Tested attempting to load http://www.stockshots.com/images/videoclips/cartoon.avi which loads properly under the offical Blender Ubuntu repository version 45+.
