Re: [Question #167918]: Port to Gnome Shell as an extension

Question #167918 on Timer Applet changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/timer-applet/+question/167918

    Status: Open => Answered

Kenny Meyer proposed the following answer:
I don't have any plans, yet, to port it to gnome shell, but I will be
glad to merge patches. In my opinion, it makes sense in this case to
start a project from scratch.

There is already a timer like extension (https://github.com/codito/gnome-shell-pomodoro) but it's quite hard to set an exact time (seconds range) and it's not about the use case of your applet.
