[Question #166800]: Reduce number of clicks
New question #166800 on Timer Applet:
https://answers.launchpad.net/timer-applet/+question/166800
Hello,
I like the simplicity of the Timer Applet, but it takes too many clicks.
Clicking to remove the alarm is already nice. What I typically want to do then (for e.g. Pomodoro) is restart the same preset, To do that I must click the icon again, find and click my preset, move the cursor to the "Start Timer" button and click again.
My suggestion is:
* Single click on the icon should start / pause / resume / restart the timer with reused settings (instead of displaying the window).
* Double click should display the window.
* The Manage Presets window i pointless. Just put the buttons where the "Delete" / "Edit" / "Add" buttons where the "Manage Presets" button is today (which by the way should have been called "Manage Presents...").
/Martin
