Hi Selvam! there was a project done by our nlp group which is hosted at
nrcfosshelpline
http://nrcfosshelpline.in/code/wiki/TamilWordnet

Its called TamilWordnet, its done in java but was running on windows
platform, I think it will run easiy on Linux too since the code is not
platform specific.

If you want help in generating derived words from root words then I can
request some people here at my centre who mainly works in natural language
processing, because I don't have much idea of nlp and don't know Tamil
language.
