Re: Scubunti Wiki, blogs and upcoming testing

Lee, will you provide DVD's for all of us to test with? Do we need to
write our own?

Also, will the latest ISO be on:
http://146.64.19.145/~mshiburi/staged-jaunty-desktop-i386-dvd.iso ?

or

http://scubuntu.meraka.org.za/~tfogwill/scubuntu-test-cdimages/?

Looking at the matrix, I see I don't need to test. I will test randomly
in an case.

Also all of us need to look at the General and Installer sections.

Just to clarify some of the installer testing requirements:
      * Check that progress bar runs smoothly.
      * Progress bar doesn't stay at 99%
      * Progress bar doesn't show gibberish like 999%
      * Check that if you select only ICT that BioScience are not
        installed/copied over
      * Installation time (Check where are packages installed from) and
        overall install time

During the testing we want to see if Scubuntu can install on different
platforms. For this reason we need a few different test boxes.

Last year we tested by using a Virtual Machine like Qemu, VirtualBox or
VMPlayer to test the ISO.

Sorry if you have received some of this information already. I haven't
so I would just like to make this clear :)

Kindly
Pieter
