Re: In scubuntu seeds: ict meta package name changed to "compsci"
Where do they exist? They are not in the main branch
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~scubuntu-dev/ubuntu-seeds/scubuntu.jaunty/files
Also when I do a search on Synaptic I only see the newly named ICT
packages. These package names now differ from the ones that I specified
in our packages.xml file in Ubiquity. So if you select to install ICT
Development ide's it won't install becuase it will look for
scubuntu-ict-development-ide deb and not
scubuntu-compsci-it-sofware-development-ide
<sub-profile name="ICT Development ide's"
meta-package-name="scubuntu-ict-development-ide">
<package>
<name>scubuntu-ict-development-ide</name>
<author>scubuntu</author>
<description>Provides development IDE's like Eclipse,etc.</description>
</package>
</sub-profile>
So you could not find the sub profiles that I have created and have now
created your own ones?
I have checked "Recent revisions" on
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~scubuntu-dev/ubuntu-seeds/scubuntu.jaunty/
and it does seem that my sub profiles did not get updated there. Not
sure why. Maybe I didn't push/commit my changes up to the original
branch and only locally.
"the original seed still exists and that testing should not be broken."
Original seed meaning the scubuntu-ict-all? or do you mean my "missing"
seeds?
