Topic we should cover are:
Polly is not pretty enough - I have been receiving tons of questions from
folks about why Polly is not pretty and sexy (yup, you read that correct).
People think that animations for errors stacking are needed, animations for
adding a column.The entire app looks old school. Etc... That should be a
long and tedious talk, so it will take at least 2 hours.
The second thing we need to cover at the first meeting is DE integration -
In Unity Polly currently uses the messaging menu, which also works for XFCE
and Gnome-Classic and KDE (the last uses a "messaging plasmoid'). We also
have fallback for systray for Gnome-Classic, XFCE and LXDE if those don't
use appindicators. However people having been asking me about extensions
for Gnome-Shell and Cinnamon and possibly a standalone plasmoid for KDE.
That should be enough for our first meeting.
