Expectations for 0.94

Hi,

Me and Georgi have been receiving a lot of casual requests lately, so this might be a good moment to list some of the things I am planning for 0.94. The main point of this release is the port to GTK3, but I'm taking the opportunity to refactor and reorganize several parts of the code. Overall, this is what you can expect:

- significant reduction in memory usage thanks to the port to GObject-introspection

- ability to overwrite theme settings with Polly's own CSS file (I don't really plan to announce this with fireworks, it's just a natural consequence of moving to GTK3 that will be available to interested advanced users)

- complete proxy support, including authentication... in fact, all proxy settings are being moved to a separate dialog

- ability to change tweet font
- ability to mark unread items and mentions

- appindicator and unity launcher support

- fine grained control of indicators and notifications

- better support for DEs where bubbles accept actions (like GNOME-Shell)

- toolbar will now be a proper GtkToolbar, which means it will now be draggable and support the nice gradients of Adwaita, Ambiance and Radiance, for example.

- nicer keyboard focus indicator for buttons, taken directly from the theme

- better accessibility support

- better control of column widths

- install iconsets by drag 'n' drop

- no more horizontal scrolling: the columns will intelligently adapt and a "half-column" will never be shown. The scrollbar will be replaced by buttons to discretely move between columns.

- refinement of keyboard navigation

Polish, polish, polish! And then, after 0.94, it's finally time to go back to features! ;)
