Just in case you wonder what the plans are that bubble around in my head,
and where we might be 'at', this is an incomplete list of semi-serious ideas
I've had that I think the pidge should do:

The freshers' fair will mainly be about convincing people that these are
exciting destinations to be at, and they can help in the short term to get
eventsy-things rolling.

Please reply with your thoughts - it'd be nice to know this email actually
gets to some of you...
