Message #00001
Port Numbers
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
Just in case anyone starts to create an early prototype:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers
Early on, therefore, we should always be using a port number *above*
49142. I recommend each prototype use a different port number,
starting with 50000. Later, we will register a system (1-1023) port
number with http://www.iana.org/ (or try to, at any rate). That will
be much later, but in real code, don't hard-code port numbers.
