We have released today µBackup 1.1.4 and 2.0b1.
The 1.1.4 release contains some low-importance bugs fixes and the 2.0b1 have
some important changes:
 * New dialog frontend (for now does not support program logs)
 * FTP Backup support
 * A new module called "fixes" that applies some fixes on configuration
files if $config/cfversion != "$config_version" (introduced in 1.1.3)
 * A new module called "help" that shows an help if you launch µBackup with
--help or -h.
 * On-the-fly non-permanent configuration improved than 1.x series.
 * "Auto" switch on the program improved than 1.x series (now you can
execute only the frontend files that you want and not only ftp backup or
local backup)
 * New installer (Can break your system; for now is not executable and not
have a launcher that defines initial variables. Use the older-but-tested
installer [install.sh; upgrade.sh])
 * Much minor modifications.

We expect to release rc1 until 2008-12-19.

For 1.1.x users: if you use the 1.1.3 and not want to upgrade, note that
1.1.4 contains only some annoyance bugs fixed. Then, you can safely remain
with 1.1.3.
Please note that the "a day we release it" .deb packages of µBackup contains
the latest release of µBackup, at the moment 1.1.4.
