Hi everyone..

OK, so I can't get boost.log to work.. and because boost.log isn't
actually yet part of boost, finding someone to ask is a bit of a
mission. I'll continue to try to get it to work, but I think it's time
we took a look at another alternative. What I've been looking for is a
logging library that requires MINIMAL setup but allows logging to
different channels and levels, preferably allowing for the level to be
changed at runtime... I think I might have found the answer:

I'll give it a spin later but it's packaged for pretty much every OS
under the sun and looks quite nice... not only that, but the macros
are easy to grep if we want to replace it with something else.
