Re: Skype fail
Check the preferences in Skype, you can tell it which audio device to
use. It's probably set on the wrong one.

If anyone knows how to make Skype work in Mint, I could use some help.
When I try, I get the error "Problem with audio playback", and it kills
my sound system. I have searched in Google and found some pages that
address this problem, but none that solve it for me.
This doesn't stop me from proceeding with other preparations, just means
that I won't be able to have any co-hosts on the recording at the same
time until I sort this out.
If I can't get Skype working, it may be possible to do the voice
communication in GTalk. I found instructions here:
