Dear all lincomteam members,

This is just a reminder that there are no currently up-to-date Lincom
Linux ISOs. The previous, LFS-based versions (1.6 and 2.1) have been
obsoleted for quite some time now, but there are still traces of them
around.

Making sure that nobody uses these insecure, and (possibly)
crash-happy images ensures that we can transition Lincom to our RPM
base.

As of this announcement, the following products are supported:

As of this announcement, the current products are slated for release:
Lincom 2011s1 (Lincom:LTS:2011, Lincom:Stable)

Remember that Lincom Stable is our rolling release, Lincom Hardhat is
our testing release, and Lincom LTS is our long term support release.
LTS releases are obsoleted after 2 years of support. Therefore, the
next LTS release will be 2013s1.

To monitor the migration process, checkout the Bootstrap:SuSE2
repository on build.lincomlinux.org.
You can test the progress with any openSUSE 11.4 or openSUSE Factory
ISO while we prepare our own nightly images.
