Re: Agenda for Infrastructure Stakeholders meeting Sept 1, 2011
Hi,
Here are the notes from the meeting:
Attendees
---------
Fathi Boudra
David Zinman
James Westby
Mounir Bsaibes
Paul Larson
Actions from previous meeting
-----------------------------
james_w to work with mounir and michaelh to split up the ToolchainBuilds
spec to be more manageable: still TODO
Mounir raised that they have been working with Validation to transfer
the hardware to Cambridge and for him to still run it.
ACTION: Paul to update the documents about plan to move toolchain builds
to hardware in Cambridge with the current status.
Status of current projects
--------------------------
Patch tracking
- Mounir wishes to have a group for IBM engineers. The plan was to
have a LP group with those people. Mounir needs to have it private now
though, and the tool doesn't support private groups. Mounir will
continue to push this.
TestDrive
- No comments on the status.
HardwarePacksV2
- No comments on the status.
CI with LAVA
- Paul is pleased with the progress on this. Weekly meetings with
Deepak. Changes made to the scheduler to support this. Validation and
Kernel will work on defining the tests that should be run. Kernel will
work on test suites for general kernel features, and the LTs will work
on tests for enablement.
Configure Gerrit
- No comments on the status.
Next projects
-------------
Status Tracking Enhancements:
- Mounir asked what this project was covering. James answered that the
work was being done to implement the roadmap views that were being
mocked up in the email thread that Mounir is part of. Mounir asked if
monthly milestone views were part of this. James said that it was not
a dependency of the roadmap work, and so was not part of this project.
Proposed plan
-------------
No objects to summit.linaro.org work.
David asked for suggestions for a second project.
Mounir advocated for monthly views in status.linaro.org. He believes
that this is the most important project for him from those that he has
proposed.
This is the proposed second project for the queue. Are there any
counter-proposals, or comments on this?
Possible upcoming projects
--------------------------
Nobody had anything to raise at this time.
Thanks,
James
