I've read just a bit of it (honestly I was unable to stomach reading it all)
and the reaching for arguments to distance themselves from us, despite all
we do for Ubuntu is downright disgusting.

We're redundant because of their fairly dead and uninteresting Fridge thing,
we have commercial interests because there are ads to cover bandwidth costs.
We must enforce the CoC in EVERYTHING we write (which kinda sounds like
forcing self-censorship on us even outside of Ubuntu). Honestly they are
trying just a tad to hard to dislike us.

My favorite point so far is popeys comment that we get away with some
disrespectful things.. well if they want to nitpick I would be happy to go
through PUC and find all the offensive posts by someone like any number of
people.

I am not in this to mindlessly repeat the party line which is what it sounds
like they expect of us.

I would rather stay off the planet with the attitudes displayed, honestly it
is not worth it. We do fine on our own, you people worked hard to make OMG
the place it is (since I joined the party late I can't claim much of that
hard work).

In the words of so many a Hollywood hero.. Fuck 'em and the horse they rode
in on.
