I agree with you: Ubuntu 10.04 is much better than win but I like
having the latest version of ubuntu for various reasons. Then I
suspect (I could be wrong) this is a kernel bug so if someone doesn't
fix it or we don't find some sort of workaround we'll have the same
problem also with future releases and also with other distros :(
