Dear all:

The second big news item of the last few weeks, is an email from Harald
Armin Massa from the EuroPython 2010 OC inviting me to give a talk on
JessyInk at the conference. I happily agreed and I am very grateful to
Harald and the EuroPython people for inviting me.

The talk will focus on Python extensions for Inkscape using JessyInk as
an example. I plan to cover some of the basics of writing extensions for
Inkscape, techniques that are helpful and tools that are provided by
Inkscape to facilitate the process. Furthermore, I would like to give
people an idea of how to accomplish common tasks using examples from the
JessyInk and other extensions. Finishing off, I am going to provide a
little show case of JessyInk.

If you have any ideas for the content of talk, things that you think are
important to mention or other suggestions, please let me know.
