very good idea :)

And - mainly - thank you for volunteering!

I guess you know that the next thing that you'll need to do in this
process is write up the set of statements about yourself for the
mailing list (which we will put there when it's time), and to check
the rest of the required data:

      * Name (legal name required when elected):
          Martin Owens
      * Current professional affiliation:
          Freelance programmer and designer (right?)
      * Statement of contribution to Inkscape or related technologies
      * A personal statement
