Hi Brian,

thanks for reply. 

dh_fixperms is commented out in debian/rules file of this package. So I assume 
its called implicitly somewhere in the launchpad build process. The ownership 
and permissions in the sources (informix-oat_2.22-2.tar.gz) looks OK.

If this problem is difficult to resolve I think following command in the 
postinst script would fix the problem for us:
chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/openadmin

Would this workaround be acceptable from your point of view?
